Since we missed writing to you at
Christmas, we decided Easter greetings were in order. As you can see, our
biggest news is that we have a new addition! Kaitlyn Eleanor joined our family
on October 29. She is such a precious sweet gift from the Lord and
we are all enjoying her immensely! If you’d like to see more pictures of

from 2007 is that in March Chris was promoted to Assistant Field Office
Director for the Chicago Field Office (he’s still with DHS/ICE). While he no
longer travels the globe, his work keeps him very busy, often around the clock.
On the homefront, homeschooling continues, along with “simply” running the home
and raising children. We look forward to graduating two students this
year! If you’re wondering why we didn’t write or send a photo at
Christmas…it was all Heather’s fault! She came down with chicken pox at
the end of November shortly before we were to take our family photo. Two weeks
later, all the rest of the children broke out, including Kaitlyn! By the
time the poxes were cleared up we started to get colds and bronchitis which
lasted through most of January and February. It’s been a long winter. Snowfall
has been tremendous (5th on record). It actually snowed lightly today
when the forecast called for rain! While we enjoy the winter and the
